This website has been put together by NHS clinicians across Sheffield. This includes hospital consultants, GPs, physiotherapists, nurses and clinicians with a special interest in managing musculoskeletal pain.
The site represents their agreed approach to managing patients in the city with common conditions affecting the joints, muscles and surrounding tissue. It takes into account the latest national and international guidelines as well as their many years of clinical experience.
It should be used in conjunction with advice given to you by your GP, physiotherapist or specialist.
The website has been designed for people in Sheffield to find out about musculoskeletal pain, how they can manage it and what they can do to prevent further problems. It also aims to direct people to get the right help at the right time.
The site has been built and recently redesigned by a team of digital experts based in Sheffield (Four North) who have been instrumental in making this site what it is today.
